Privacy policy

At Tradufiel, the privacy of your documents is fundamental. We never keep your original document beyond completing your order.
What we collect
We collect only the information necessary to process your order: your email address (for verification and delivery), the documents you upload (encrypted and temporary), and billing metadata processed by Stripe. We do not create user accounts or store credit card information.
How we handle your documents
Your original document is encrypted with AES-256-GCM at upload. It never exists as readable bytes on our servers. It is permanently deleted when your translation is completed and certified. If you don't complete payment, the document is deleted when the preview link expires.
Translation retention
Your certified translation is available for re-download based on your choice: 30 days from delivery (default) or 3 days after your first download. After that period, it is automatically deleted. You control this option when creating your order.
Verification records
Certificate verification records, containing only a cryptographic hash and non-sensitive metadata (never the document), are retained for at least 5 years. This allows anyone to verify a certificate's authenticity at verify.tradufiel.com.
Third parties
We use Stripe for payments (they process card data, not us), Resend for transactional email, and Cloudflare for infrastructure. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. We never use your documents to train AI models.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your billing data by contacting us at privacy@tradufiel.com. Documents are already automatically deleted per the process described above. Verification records do not contain personally identifiable information beyond certificate metadata.
